Soffit & Fascia

Repair and replacement of soffit and fascia to close out pests, support your gutters and finish the roofline cleanly.

The soffit and fascia are the boards that close in your roof overhang and carry your gutters. When they rot or pull loose, you get pests in the attic, sagging gutters and water working its way into the structure.

We repair or replace soffit and fascia in materials that match your home, sealing the roofline back up so it looks sharp and keeps weather and animals out. It is the finishing detail that ties siding, roof and gutters together.

Common soffit & fascia questions

What do soffit and fascia actually do?

Fascia is the vertical board that carries your gutters and caps the rafter ends; soffit closes the underside of the overhang and provides the intake airflow your attic ventilation depends on. They protect the roof edge structure and feed the ventilation system — failure invites rot, pests, and ice problems.

Why is my soffit or fascia rotting?

Almost always gutter trouble — overflowing or leaking gutters soak the fascia behind them, and the rot spreads to soffit panels and rafter tails. Fixing the wood without fixing the gutter just restarts the clock, so we address both together.

Should soffit be vented?

In most of the attic, yes — soffit vents are the intake half of a balanced ventilation system. We install vented panels where airflow is needed and solid where it is not, and make sure attic insulation is baffled back so it is not blocking the very vents the system relies on.

Can you replace soffit and fascia without replacing siding?

Yes. Soffit and fascia are independent of the wall siding — we repair the wood, wrap fascia in color-matched aluminum, and install new soffit panels as a standalone job. It pairs naturally with gutter replacement since the gutters come off the fascia anyway.
